I have no idea whether the product received is really silk produced from silkworm cocoons (they feed on mulberry leaves before making cocoons) or whether it is 100% polyester. But for the price it is very well made, a very nice fabric, and is the correct size. I bought 3 in different colors and all the colors were very pretty. I can recommend it, but if you are like me and your face and head get too hot at night, you probably won't be able to use it.

I liked everything, I just thought there would be two pillowcases but only one came, but that's okay, the fabric is great.
Love it! Ordered size king fits great and is so soft!
